It would really help to know which acer model you have. different models might have different procedures. basically, you need to change the boot order in the bios so the computer boots from the cd/dvd optical drive as the first option.. I try to install from the cd drive. however the cd prompt never appears though i can see the laptop acesss the cd. i have enabled the f12 boot menu.. Just got an acer aspire es 14 and wanted to reinstall windows 10. set up a bootable usb with windows 10 image using rufus. everytime i try to boot, it always opens up the current win10 set up. i.
